One-stop-shop Sustainable Building Solutions
Hello & Welcome,
First of all many thanks to all of you for visiting our website. We hope you find the information provided useful and interesting.
With the rebranding of our company and the various projects either completed or in design phase, we are looking back to an interesting year 2008. The current market situation obviously does not help us and the whole building industry to deliver what we are aiming for: sustainable, green & efficient buildings for the future!
STREIF believes in the holistic approach of sustainable building and living combined with high quality and precision engineered technology. We have just obtained the Q Mark certification by BM TRADA, being the first closed timber panel building system in the UK.
As previously announced in our news section, we are currently focusing on forthcoming projects in Worthing, West Sussex; Newton Stewart, Scotland; Birchington, Kent and in Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands.
We have updated our website with further technical information on our system and will soon be showing more samples of projects and designs. Focusing on sustainable building solutions especially for apartment buildings, we have prepared various alternatives in reaching CSH levels 3, 4 & 5, so please contact us if you are interested.
If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to incorporate those into our site – the registration with our Newsletter will keep you always up-to-date with our company. We also update our News section regularly, so please visit us again very soon.
Kind regards,
The Management

2nd Phase in Lewes
Blue Sonic has submitted their planning application for the 2nd phase in Lewes. This is for a mix development for 27 units including residential and commercial properties as well as social housing. STREIF has been appointed preferred supplier for providing the superstructure for this project and work on site is scheduled to commence in September.
Cooperation with YMCA England
STREIF will be working on two schemes in Crewe (48 units) and in Stoke-on-Trent (36 units) under the supervision of YMCA England. The two projects are still in the design process and work onsite is planned to start towards the end of this year and beginning of next year respectively. The cooperation also focuses on training young people in OSM technology as part of an exchange programme with STREIF in Germany.
STREIF expands services to Architectural Design and Building Control Consultancy
Here at STREIF we are constantly looking at ways of offering a better service to our customers. With that in mind we are delighted to announce our new consultancy service, offering a comprehensive range of advice and professional services ranging from architectural designs through our RIBA registered Architect to building control consultancy through our Building Engineer. Furthermore, we are offering these services independent of our offsite manufactured system at any stage of the construction process. Whilst we believe our system to be one of the best products on the market, it is not suitable for every site or project, yet we would like to be able to offer STREIF quality to every potential client, at a competitive value for money.
This means we are now able to offer a one-stop shop for all your construction needs, at any stage of the project, with as much involvement as your situation requires. According to our RIBA Architect, Peter Reime: “We are now in a unique position to take your first ideas for a new home, through the entire process right up to handing you the keys to your new front door.” All this of course under the STREIF brand name, and the meticulous German quality and efficiency that goes with it. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further queries.

STREIF's German Engineered Sustainable Building System is the first to gain BM TRADA Q-MARK Certification
We are pleased to announce that our offsite manufactured closed timber panel system is the first to be awarded with the Q-MARK certificate.
BM TRADA's Q-MARK is a quality assurance scheme and certifies that our system and procedures have exceeded the required performance levels through independent accredited testing and appraisal and that our building components are manufactured according to an approved quality management system. Performance and production will continue to be regularly checked through audit testing and inspections.
The scheme therefore certifies our high quality standards and enables clients to specify our sustainable building system with absolute confidence.
